Has the institution established anti-ragging mechanism?
Yes. The Institute has an anti-ragging committee that ensures that no such attempts take place in the campus. The anti-ragging committee has registered no ragging instances in the last four years. The University also believes that apart from preventing such instances to occur through a constitutional committee, the students also need to be inspired to live in a healthy and harmonious environment. To ensure this objective, the University conducts ‘Unnayan’, a welcome event for all the new students by the senior students. On this occasion, the senior students conduct a cultural programme to welcome the new students. The seniors also serve special meals embarking the beginning of a new relationship based on values, culture, and feeling of togetherness.
